Not In The Cook Mood

2 thought(s) to share
Cooking
I can cook. I really am. But somehow I find it too hard to get myself getting busy in the kitchen. I collect so many recipes either from the web or magazines that look tasty and not so complicated. I collect and put them all in one nice bundle but I never touch it after that (lol). Maybe I have another reason why I am collecting recipes and never cook it after all. I love to see pictures of delicious and tasty foods from the magazine. I love how they presented. Most of the recipes I collected are not that difficult to cook as I always avoid the hard ones. I can also get the ingredients easily in the groceries. So, what’s the problem then? (You may ask). Well, maybe it’s just my laziness that’s been covering my mind and my mood every time I start to think to start cooking. That’s all. So for our daily meals at home, I just cook some ordinary recipes such as stir-fry, fried or boiled. I cook for myself, my daughter and a house maid because my husband always has lunch with his colleagues from office. But he always comes home earlier to have dinner together. And he never complain about his meal so far (lol)

This is my entry for Saturday Nine meme from Sam. This week topic is about Daniel Powter’s song: Bad Day. I love this song and let’s find out about the questions now.

1. Is there anything that you tend to do to cheer up when you are having a bad day?
I usually decide to go to sleep. It can soothe my feeling better. I will get up with a better mood and fresher mind. That’s why when I had a real bad day; I can sleep for more than 5 hours in the afternoon. Hahaha…

2. What’s the last card game you played, and with whom did you play?
I don’t play card anymore. As far as I can remember, my last card game was when I still a kid and played with my little sister every Saturday night.

3. What’s the last board game you played, and with whom did you play?
Never play one either. I’d rather play online games on Facebook instead. On this one, I’m an addict :)

4. What’s the last computer game you played, and with whom did you play?
I play a lot. But the last game I played is Market Street on Facebook. This is the newest game I play. I also play Farmville, Barn Buddy, Happy Island, and Frontier Ville. I already quitted some other games long time ago. But I’m still an addict.

5. Is there somewhere you’d like to visit but have not, and where is it?
I love traveling. So basically I really want to visit every place in this world. But Japan is on top of my priority.

6. Think of your favorite movie (or a movie you really like, if you can’t think of a favorite). Some people say that the reasons you love your favorite movie are related to what you value in romantic relationships. How is this true or untrue in your case?
Well, I’m a huge fan of horror movies which has ghosts and stuff in it. I don’t like to watch love story or drama or any kind of romantic movies. Based on this, I think I would never try to find a connection between my favorite movies and my real life. It will sound creepy (lol)

7. What physical attributes do you find the most attractive?
My mom said: my hips. But I think I’d go for my feet.

8. How many people live in your house? Tell us about them.
There are 4 of us. Me; my husband who usually work from Monday till Friday; my 3 years old daughter, Asha; and our house maid, Sovi.

9. Ever punch someone in the face?
Hell no. And I hope I will never do that whatsoever. Gees…. It will hurt your own hands, you know? If someday, somebody is messing up with you, just use your high heels instead (lol) just kidding….

Well..well..well.. I guess its all for today’s fun. See you guys again tomorrow. Oh wait! Tomorrow is Sunday.. I changed my mind. I’ll see you all on Monday *wink*..
Have a great weekend there….

TGIF!

0 thought(s) to share
TGIF! I’m so excited about this particular day since tomorrow and the day after tomorrow I will spend times with my daughter and hubby together. Its family time! Though we don’t have any special plan for this weekend but that’s okay as long as we spend the entire day together. We usually go to a playground to give Asha a chance to play around. After that we will have lunch in a restaurant or cafĂ©. When we got home, we’ll watch a movie together with some snacks. In Sunday morning, we usually go for service in the church. But sometimes, we get up early and do some exercises together outside house. There’s a park in this town which usually used for that purpose. People from all over places will gather and exercise together in this park. You can also bring your kid together to just play in the field with some other kids. Right after breakfast we will go home and take some rest. We usually have dinner on a restaurant too then go to a book store or groceries for a little shopping. And we do that altogether from AM to PM. Yayy!!

And this is my entry for Rock ‘n Roll Fridays! meme. Today we picked Sting. The song titles from which we took the lyrics are in caps. Here's Rock 'n Roll Fridays!
1. DESERT ROSE: This desert flower, no sweet perfume ever tortured me more than this…
What is your favorite scent?
I love the scent of jasmine or bergamot. I also like vanilla and musk. Yes, I love all those scents. I also love fruity scents (lol). Let’s just say I love all the sweet smells.

2. EVERY BREATH YOU TAKE: Every move you make, every vow you break, every smile you fake, every claim you stake, I'll be watching you.
Ever stalked or researched an old flame?
No, dear. I’d never stalk an old flame. I don’t want to play with fire especially when I don’t have a certain reason to do that. I realize that it will hurt somebody else either my husband or “his” spouse. So, I certainly won’t do that.

3. IF I EVER LOSE MY FAITH IN YOU: I never saw no miracle of science that didn't go from a blessing to a curse…
What product did you buy that didn’t do what it claimed?
The last skin moisturizers I bought. It was a product from a famous brand and which continually show up on female magazine and claim itself as the best product ever. After I purchased and used it, I didn’t feel any difference on my skin in fact it make my skin look dull. I would never repurchase that skin moisturizer again ever.

4. IF YOU NEED SOMEBODY SET THEM FREE: If you need somebody, call my name.
If you want someone, you can do the same…
Do you have a nickname or have you been called something other than your given name?
Yah, I have two nick names given by some teenage friends’ long time a go. Around my click, I was called Kimi. Meanwhile, around my neighborhood, I was called Ling Ling (because I have small eyes just like Chinese eyes). I laugh when I remember those nicknames right now (lol).

5. WE WORK THE BLACK SEAM: One day in a nuclear age they may understand our rage. They build machines that they can't control and bury the waste in a great big hole…
What do you do that is considered “Green”?
I don’t use plastic bag again. Every time I go shopping, I will bring my own reusable bag. I also use energy saving lamps in my house and plant more trees around my house. I believe that people doesn’t have to think big to be “GREEN”. Whatever you do in order to make our earth better is count even the smallest one like throwing garbage into a garbage can.

6. MOON OVER BOURBON STREET: It was many years ago that I became what I am, I was trapped in this life like an innocent lamb…
What was the worst job you ever had?
After finished my college few years ago, I start to work as a call center employee in a telecommunication company. The payment was bad; I work 9 hours a day with only one day off per week; shift hour where I need to work until 10PM and the worst part is that I must work on Sunday also. Geee…..

7. I BURN FOR YOUIn peace we sleep entwined and your love flows through me. Though an ocean soothes my head, I burn for you…
What is the worst thing about sleeping with someone else in a bed?
People who rave when sleeping! It’s very annoying. How can you sleep peacefully when someone next to you screaming over and over again all the time until the sun rise? I’d rather go sleep in a couch in front of tv. Alone!

8. FORTRESS AROUND YOUR HEART: And if I built this fortress around your heart,Encircled you in trenches and barbed wire, then let me build a bridge, for I cannot fill the chasm…
What object or piece of furniture have you built?
None *ROTFL* I can’t build anything. I can only use things that have been built completely by someone else.

9. ENGLISHMAN IN NEW YORK: I don't drink coffee I take tea my dear, I like my toast done on one side, and you can hear it in my accent when I talk, I'm an Englishman in New York…
Do you require special preparation for a food or drink in a restaurant?
I love salty and spicy food. So I always ask for extra chili and soy sauce in my table. What? Shoot me for that *lol*

10. FIELDS OF GOLD: I never made promises lightly, and there have been some that I've broken. But I swear in the days still left we'll walk in the fields of gold…
What was the last promise you made?
I recently made a promise to my hubby that I’m going to make delicious fried vermicelli with seafood for him after he got home tomorrow. He’s out of town right now.

11. CONSIDER ME GONE: To search for perfection is all very well, but to look for Heaven is to live here in Hell. After today, consider me gone…
What was the worst way you ever broke up in a relationship?
None, as far I could remember. I don’t have many boyfriends. I only have one boyfriend before I finally met my husband and got married. I was a complicated girl *grin*

12. THE RUSSIANS: How can I save my little boy from Oppenheimer's deadly toy, there is no monopoly in common sense on either side of the political fence…
What is your biggest fear of danger?
Having a car accident! In fact, this is the main reason why I always use a taxi even if I have my own car in the garage. Need more guts on this one.

13. BRAND NEW DAY: How many lonely, sleepless nights, how many lies, how many fights, and why would you want to put yourself through all that again?
Do you prefer being married or single?
Obviously, I prefer being married. I love to have someone closest to me other than my parents or siblings. That’s why I’m happy with I am right now.

After all…….Welcome Weekend…………

Choose Wisely

5 thought(s) to share
Grilled Pork
A friend of mine is pregnant right now and she accidentally told me that she had grilled pork for lunch yesterday. I said: What?! Didn’t your OB told you to avoid any grilled foods like steak during the first trimester? She said: No. My OB told me to eat everything I like. When I was pregnant, my OB strictly told me to avoid any grilled foods during pregnancy. Pregnant women are always suggested to consume foods which have been well cooked. Many harmful bacteria may survived during the process of grilled and bring harm to your fetus as people usually choose the rare or medium rare option for their steak or any other grilled foods. Nobody says that pregnancy time will be easy. You must control what you eat. Remember there is another human that depends on your body for foods at all the time. So choose your food wisely, my pregnant friends.

Anyway, here’s my entry for Thursday Thunks this week, fellas.
1. We know how creative Berleen is with her terrific tee-shirts and such, so how about you? Do you draw anything or perhaps your name in the sand when you go to the beach?
To be honest, I’m not so good at drawing. I can only draw sketches of flower petals and butterfly. Well, maybe scenery of mountain from far away or just cloud in the afternoon with some seagulls flies around. But don’t tell me to color it. The sketch will look even worse. Just the sketch please (lol)

2. Kimber doesn’t always leave her house. I wonder if she knows what is out her back door. What is out your back door?
We don’t have back door. We use the entire land area for house building and leave some space for grass, flower beds and pots in the front area. That’s all we need.

Lake Toba, Indonesia
3. Do you prefer the beach, a pool or a lake? Why?
Beach is wonderful but I can’t stand the heat of sunshine and the salty water. I like beach for its panorama and the seafood but I definitely will not swim into it. Meanwhile, the pool is the easiest option you have when you feel like want to plunge yourself into water. But you will find comfort only if you have one of your own at home where you can use it by yourself and maintain the water hygiene properly. But in public pool, get ready for the crowd; forget about water hygiene and definitely no panorama (lol). I like lake the most. Lake provides you panorama just like beach did but with more friendly sunshine heat. The water is fresh and looks clean even with so many people around. And I will be happy to throw myself into it and swim and swim and swim (lol)

4. What is something recently that happened to you that you are REALLY excited about?
I got a phone from an old friend from high school. She was my best friend in school and I lost contact with her for more then 10 years. She found my numbers from other friend and call me right after. I was so excited. We plan to meet for lunch on the day after tomorrow.

5. I am fortunate that I come from a very close family. Are any of your great-grandparents still alive? If not did you ever meet them?
Unfortunately, all of my great grandparents were already passed away when I was born. I don’t have a chance to meet any of them.

6. When was the last time you spoke in front of a large group? Tell us about it.
I think it would be about 3 years ago when I still work at a telecommunication company. I made a presentation about certain thing in front of my colleagues and boss. But I resign from that job when I was 7 months pregnant and that’s when I started my life as a home maker.

7. Have you ever bungee jumped? Would you ever bungee jump?
No and I will not ever try it. I don’t have guts for bungee jumping. Even a roller coaster is frightening enough for me (lol)

8. How strong emotionally do you think you are?
I’m an emotional person and absolutely beyond average *grin*

9. Kimber and Berleen still have NEVER met, yet they are best friends. What is the first thing you notice about people when you meet the?
The first think I noticed about people will be their smiles and friendliness. Smile is the easiest way for us to show our respect to other people we met. We don’t need to run towards them and shake their hands vigorously or hug them so tight just to show them our respects. Just give your best smile and other people will appreciate it by smile back for you.

10. Who do you mess with the most?
I don’t want to mess with anyone. I like friendship and understanding :)

11. Who was the last person you talked to on a land line?
My mom. My parents live in my hometown far away from my current city. They actually own cell phone but sometimes they call me using the landline.

12. I finally saw Avatar this week. What was the last movie you watched long after it came out and loved?
It would be The Orphan. I found out about this movie from my sister. Apparently, she bought that dvd a long time ago and I was kind of late to watch it. But it was a great movie. It’s thrilling and contrary to all expectation. Have you watch The Orphan yet?

13. What did you dream about last night?
My husband. He’s been out of town since yesterday and will be back on Saturday. I miss him already (lol)

Have a great Thursday Thunks everyone…

His Thoughts

1 thought(s) to share
This is another entry for Wednesday Wickedness here, people. Today, we pick Mick Jagger to be the main figure and these are his statements.

1. “A good thing never ends.”
Have you ever had a good thing in your life that never ended?
I believe it would be God’s Grace up on me and my family. I always spend some times to look back and review my old steps before look forward to see what I’ve got so far. It amazing to find how God works and turn my life into what I have right now. And I’ll always be grateful for it also

2. “I got nasty habits, I take tea at three.”
Do you have a nasty habit?
First of all, I don’t understand completely why take tea at three becomes a nasty habit for some people. Here we can take tea at whatever time we want and nobody will complain about it. Is this cultural difference stuff? Well, I think my nasty habit will be snoring (lol). My husband told me that I snore a lot in my sleep. It’s a bit embarrassing but I don’t know how to stop it. Can you help me?

3. “I'd rather be dead than to be singing Satisfaction at 45.”
He obviously changed his mind. What is something that you still do that you thought you' outgrow?
When I was very young, I told myself not to ever going to yell at my own kids in the future. This usually happens after my mom yelled at me for something wrong that I did (love you mom.. (lol)). But when I have my own child many years later, I find myself do exactly like my mom did to me. I yelled a lot. Hahaha… Kids are awesome but sometimes can just like shoot you in the head also (lol)

4. “Lose your dreams and lose your mind.”
Have you lost any of your dreams as time went by?
I lost some of my young dreams now but I don’t regret it. As I found my life now is good and happy even without those lost dreams. I found other dreams right now concerning my family in the future.

5. “I haven't had time to return to the scene because I never left it.”
As you've grown older, what ways are you still act and think the way you did as when you were younger?
Most of my acts and thoughts when I was younger have changed now as time went by. I think people actually change even when they didn’t realize it. Experiences and life’s journey tend to make people wiser and more mature.

6. “Patriotism is something that fades when the war starts.”
How do you react to this quote?
Patriotism doesn’t have to be related with war anyway. Patriotism can also be perceived when you use products made by your own domestic producers or when you receive some kind of appreciation from other countries due to your hard works for your country. And I absolutely  disagree with you for this, Mick.

7. “The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.”
Is there a person in your life who still treats you as the same person to when you were younger? Do you like it?
No, there isn’t. Most people around me treat me like what I am today even my own parents. They treat me like a partner to discuss with and I like it.

8. “It's all right letting yourself go, as long as you pull yourself back.”
Have you let yourself go in any aspect of your life?
No. I’m aware of myself so far. I’ve never let anything uncontrolled. I know it’s not easy to pull yourself back and lots of people failed of doing so. So, beware of your self.

9. “My mother has always been unhappy with what I do. She would rather I do something nicer, like being a brick layer.”
How do you parents feel about what you do?
My parents like me just fine and I even have the feeling that they also proud of me and what I am right now. Parents will never feel unhappy or bad feeling upon their own children I suppose.

10. “Anarchy is the only slight glimmer of hope.”
How would you categorize your political point of view?
I like everything to be well regulated. A well organized country can only be governed by a well organized authority. The bottom line is I hate anarchy very much! Every issue can be solved peacefully.

Cookwares Lovers

0 thought(s) to share
Do you love to spend money on cookwares, momsb? I have a friend who can't stop herself from buying cookwares online. She spent a lot of money to buy this expensive cookwares but in the end she felt guilty to use any of those wares and choose to keep them nicely in the special drawer (lol).
Indeed, those cookwares look fabulous especially when you noticed that those are not the cheap one. But why bother buy things if you only put them in a sacred place instead of use them to for your cooking hobby?
I can cook but its not my hobby. I cook daily for my family needs but I seldom try some experiments to make a new recipe. I love to goggling recipes from the internet to find some inspirations about my daily menus (lol) but not to create one. Maybe that's why I'm not so crazy about these cookwares.
I don't buy special expensive wares just to follow my other friends hobby. I will buy a familiar brand of cookwares that most of my friends use even if its the cheap one. As long as they free from any hazard materials and can be used for any kind of foods safely, I will buy it. I only have certain kind of cookwares in my pantry and I feel enough of them right now.

Words From Lyrics

5 thought(s) to share
I love songs. So if somehow I got a “job” to find a particular song using certain words, I’ll be happy to do it. Below are some words which provided by The Queen and I must find a song that contain those words on the lyric. I will definitely choose the songs I’m familiar with. So, if somehow you don’t recognize the songs I’m really sorry.
Want
“I Want To Spend My Life Time Loving You” by Marc Anthony and Tina Arena
This is an Original Sound Track (OST) of Zorro. I love to see Catherine Zeta Jones in this movie. Gorgeous!

Hell
*I would do anything for love, I’d run right into hell and back* “I’d Do Anything For Love” by Meatloaf.
This is a 12 minutes song. That’s the reason I remember it (lol)

Smack
*Flows smack you wit the rubber grip* “It’s Your Life” by Ja Rule
I love the lyrics and How Ja Rule sings this song.

Ugly
*Even when I'm ugly he still better love me* “Any Man of Mine” by Shania Twain.
This was my favorite song back in college few 10 years ago

Beast
*Made the savage beast inside roar until he cried* “Lady Marmalade” by Christina Aguilera.
I looooveeee this song. Never gonna get bored of it (lol)

Romeo
*This romeo is bleeding, but you can’t see his blood”* “Always” by Bonjovi
Bonjovi was my favorite band when I was a teenager. I miss their songs.

God
*Thank God I found you, I was lost without you* “Thank God I Found You” by Mariah Carey feat 98 Degrees. I love Mariah. That’s the main reason I pick this song.
Enjoy then

Friday Random Questions

7 thought(s) to share
Mama M helped me provide a topic for my blog this bright and shiny Friday. She actually doesn’t have a particular theme for her meme, but I enjoy it so far. Now, here comes the Friday meme.

1. What were your school colors?
In Indonesia, students must wear uniforms from Kindergarten u/t Senior High School. You will be freed from this rule when you graduated from Senior High School and enter the college/university.
These are my school colors then:
Kindergarten: white shirt and light blue overall

Primary School: white shirt and short dark red skirt

Junior High School: white shirt and short dark blue skirt

Senior High School: white shirt and short gray skirt

Apparently, student’s uniforms nowadays may vary. There days, you can easily find students wearing different color from what we wore many years ago. I guess time has changed and there is no particular specification anymore about this.

2. What's the best compliment you ever received?
When someone says: "Your daughter is smart and beautiful" or "Looks like you have a happy marriage life"
Those words can take me to the sky instantly (lol)

3. Do you buy cheap or expensive toilet paper?
The cheap one of course! I don’t want to spend extra money to buy something that I certainly will throw away into the garbage can right after used (lol). I can spend extra money for scented candles for my bathroom instead.

4. Have you ever had a surprise party thrown for you? Or have you had one for someone else?
Not yet *crying* I really want somebody to make a surprise party for me one day. Could you arrange one for me please? *grin* And to be honest I never had one for someone else either.

5. What is one material possession that you "can't live without"?
There is more than one thing actually. But if I have to make a choice, then I’ll choose “My Glasses” I can not live without it. How can I recognize you someday if I can only see blur in your face, right? Hahaha...

I love Ellen

4 thought(s) to share
Here comes my favorite meme of all (lol). It feels so great to find Janera is using one of my favorite figure, Ellen Degeneres. Can’t wait to find out what she’s going to tell us about..

1. "I was coming home from kindergarten--well they told me it was kindergarten. I found out later I had been working in a factory for ten years. It's good for a kid to know how to make gloves."
How old were you when you started working and what was your first job?
Just found out that you started your very first job in a very young age, Ellen. Meanwhile, I got my first job right after I graduated from university. It’s still in our culture that students must focus on their study only and start their first job after finishing the school. For some of us who didn’t manage to continue their study to university, then they will start their first job in a younger age, mostly right after high school graduation :)

2. "My grandmother started walking five miles a day when she was sixty. She's ninety-seven now, and we don't know where the hell she is."
Tell us about your grandparents.
My 2 grannies and 1 grandpa passed away before I was born, I don’t have a chance to know them more. But at least I can still see my grandpa (from my dad side) for 10 years. He gave me my name… yay…

3. "Procrastination isn't the problem, it's the solution. So procrastinate now, don't put it off."
Do you procrastinate or are you on top of the situations?
Under certain circumstances, I do procrastinate. But I can also be on top of the situation sometimes.

4. "Sometimes you can't see yourself clearly until you see yourself through the eyes of others."
What would others say about you?
Honestly, I've never asked other people about this one. Please don’t laugh at me. But your question has made me wondering about what others would say about me. I will find out as soon as possible. I promise!

5. "The only thing that scares me more than space aliens is the idea that there aren't any space aliens. We can't be the best that creation has to offer. I pray we're not all there is. If so, we're in big trouble"
Do you believe in life on other planets?
I’m still a bit unsure about this topic. I clearly realize that most part of this universe is still unexplored by human yet. So there is a huge possibility that we may only have very tiny information about the outer space as well. That's why I believe that there might be other existences outside our world right now. Only we can’t still figure it out yet.

6. "I'm a godmother, that's a great thing to be, a godmother. She calls me god for short, that's cute, I taught her that."
Do you have a godchild?
Unfortunately, no. We don’t have such a thing called godmother or godfather here. Again it’s the matter of cultural differences I suppose.

7. "I don't understand the sizes anymore. There's a size zero, which I didn't even know that they had. It must stand for: 'Ohhh my God, you're thin.'"
When was the last time that you were called too thin?
Ooo…it was a LOONNG time ago..(lol). I used to be very thin when I was a teenager. I must work hard to gain weight including consuming all unhealthy foods. I was so embarrassed with my thin body. But right after my first daughter born, I can say good bye to my thin body and say hi to my chubby figure (until now) hahaha…

8. "I have the worst memory ever so no matter who comes up to me - they're just, like, 'I can't believe you don't remember me!" I'm like, 'Oh Dad I'm sorry!'"
Who was the last person that you should have recognized but didn't?
I was a bit ashamed when I met an old friend from high school class and I didn’t recognize her. Expressionless. I can’t say a word when she run towards me and say my name. Is there any medicine for this kind of illness? Lol

9. "I gotta work out. I keep saying it all the time. I keep saying I gotta start working out. It's been about two months since I've worked out. And I just don't have the time. Which uh..is odd. Because I have the time to go out to dinner. And uh..and watch tv. And get a bone density test. And uh.. try to figure out what my phone number spells in words."
Do you work out? Have you ever joined a gym and quit almost immediately?
I just wrote about this in my previous article. There you will find out that I don’t work out. Just like Ellen, I have things in my mind that telling me how I need to work out but I just can’t make up my mind yet. Still working on it though (lol)

10. 'We use 10 percent of our brains. Imagine how much we could accomplish if we used the other 60 percent."
Do you feel that you utilize all your intelligence in every situation?
Uhm…I don’t think so. I think I’m just using a small part of my intelligence daily. Should work on this one too

Love to read all your statements, Ellen. Keep up the good work and stay funny!! xoxo

Old Friends Chat Room

2 thought(s) to share
If you have a chance to meet some old friends from your high school class, will you ever ignore it? Well, if you had a bad time back in your high school few years ago, I think you’ll be happy to ignore it (lol). But I have a fantastic high school time. There’s no bullying yet (I think) but if it actually happened few years ago, then I’m not aware of that and clearly not a victim. I’m sorry if some of you face a hard time during high school. You know, teens can be so cruel.

Anyway, we don’t actually see each other face to face since we stay in different places. But we can still communicate each other through a chat room though this chat room is only available for Blackberry users. So there are only a few of us there. But the chat room is fully alive!! (lol)

It’s a different experience when you see lots of friend on your Facebook friends list and communicate with them non-verbally with talk (verbally) directly with them even if you’re not sitting in front of your computer. This situation tends to make you share lots of things easier and faster. And when this happens, any weird topics can be found here easily (lol)

Oh I love this chat room. And I hope we will be able to maintain the cheerfulness and familiarity in this group as long as we can.

Saturday Jokes1

1 thought(s) to share
Look! It’s Saturday again. As usual, I only have a very short time to sit in front of my laptop and write something for my blog here (lol). So, I choose to re-write some funny jokes I found and share them here with you every Saturday. Though I’m not the real creator of these jokes, I still think that they’re worth to share. Anyway, I hope you have a great weekend, wherever you are..And this would be the first Sunday Jokes.

The Sea Project for Primary School Students
A number of Primary School students had their own project by visiting the sea. Then they were asked to write or draw everything they had in mind about their trip to the sea. The teachers then collected all the students’ paper and compare them. It’s amazing to know what a 5-8 years old kid could think about. Read few funny things they’ve shared below.
This is a picture of an octopus. It has eight testicles
(Kelly, 6y)

Whales are animals, not fish. If they don’t get air they can drown, like my brother did last summer
(David, 7y)

Oyster’s balls are called pearls
(James, 6y)

A dolphin breaths through and arsehole on top of his head
(Billy, 6y)

My uncle goes out in his boat with pots, and comes back with crabs
(Millie, 6y)

Some fish are dangerous. Jelly fish can sting. Electric eels can give you a shock. They have to live in caves under the sea where I think they have to plug themselves into a charger
(Christopher, 7y)

My mum has fish nets but doesn’t catch any fish
(Laura, 5y)

When you go swimming in the sea, it’s very cold, and it makes my willy small
(Kevin, 6y)

Divers have to be save when they go under the water. Two divers can’t go down alone, so they have to go down on each other
(Becky, 8y)

On holiday my mum went water skiing. She fell of when she was going very fast. She says she won’t do it again because water shot up her fanny
(Julie, 7y)

(LOL) have a nice weekend

Status Shuffle

2 thought(s) to share
Tonight, I just want to make a short post here, ladies. I want to find out your opinions about my Facebook’s status here. Well, actually it’s just a quotation from Status Shuffle that I like. I seldom use my own words recently, since I always find suitable quotation from this Status Shuffle. Especially about topics that I really want to share my friends about.
Today, I picked one of the “marriage quotations” there that I really love. If you can’t read them in the picture above, I will rewrite them for you.

Sometimes I wonder why I have such an awesome husband...then today I realized it's because I am such an awesome wife

Well, I got few responses for this status. One MOM, one WIFE, and two other FEMALES like this. Meanwhile, one female friend gave a funny yet belittled comment and one husband thought that I was some kind of narciss wife.

So, I want to read your opinion, especially WIVES out there. What do you have in mind about that statement? Can wait to see ya…xoxo

Anyway, for you who still wondering about what is Status Shuffle, its a kind of widget who provides you thousands of statuses to pick. You know, sometimes you just run out of idea and want to find other source to help you. This can be useful too when you have something in mind that you want to share on your Facebook or Twitter, but you can't pick the right words to write on. Status Shuffle may help you by providing thousands of choices based on the theme you like. You can find a lots of themes in there such as marriage, hate, weekend, friendship, etc.
For me, its a fun way to show my feeling and emotion. Sometimes, you can also find funny status that can make you laugh and willing to share it to your friends. So, enjoy it

Wanted! New Playground

3 thought(s) to share
Did you realize how hard it is nowadays to find a good public playground around the neighborhood, moms? Well, I’m talking about the situation here Indonesia since I’m not quite sure about how it is in other countries. Here, you can’t find an open space where you can ask your kids to play in the afternoon. A quite wide field with short green grass will be perfect for this purpose. It will be better if you can also find some benches for parents to sit on while watching their kids playing.
As for the kids themselves, they’re going to love the field if it equipped with some tools for children play ground such as the seesaws, swings, or the sand box. All of them are in the open space where they can have a soft afternoon sunshine shining on their faces and feel the wind blows in their hair. No..no..no.. I think this kind of playground must be very hard to find (sigh).

That’s why so many parents choose to ask their kids to visit the shopping mall to play around. There you can some places that provide a small area for ball box (to replace the sand box which is dirtier and insufficient) where the kids could play in a very short time. Meanwhile, the parents should also provide certain amounts of money to pay that short time playground for their kids.

You will find so many young girls and boys jostled in that small box just to scramble some colorful small balls there. The place looks even smaller that it has to be. You can’t call it as a playground at all. Not to mention the hygiene problems…yuckkss…

Fffiuuh….I’d rather have my little girl playing alone with her toys in my own living room than to let her play jostled in a small space that looks dirty and stinks like that. Forgive me, my sweet heart.. Do you want me to buy some more colorful balls for you?

I Am Sorry

1 thought(s) to share
It’s never easy to say “I’m sorry” and request for forgiveness, especially if it really comes from the bottom of your heart. I mean, if you just say it in order to please other people, then it wouldn’t be that hard for you. Saying I’m sorry is not the end of everything, I think. As a matter of fact, it’s the beginning of everything. Along with the apology come the responsibilities. If we brave enough to admit our mistakes, then we must be brave enough to play the piper as well.

In my opinion, consequences have become the main reason why certain people refuse to ask for apology. They just can not handle the responsibilities. So, they thought that it will be easier to just keep silent and confess nothing at all. They’re not ready yet to finish what they’ve started.

But, in my mind I can see that apologize is a simple word which has enormous meaning inside. People can understand much from someone else apology and tend to react in positive way. I found out that no matter how mad or how hurt we are concerning to other people’s mistake, somehow it can be soothed by a sincere apology.

Indeed, you still need to deal with responsibilities. But at least you can make peace with your own heart first and get ready for the next move. You’re no longer need to argue with your own self whether to confess or not. But you can finally find relief to your mistake and move on to finish what you’ve started before. And I assure you, your next move with the responsibilities will be much easier. So, do apologize…

Robert Pattinson Got Something To Say

6 thought(s) to share
1. "I don't really see the point in washing your hair. If you don't care if your hair's clean or not then why would you wash it?"
How often do you wash your hair?
The point is that I do care about my hair cleanliness, Robert. I wash my hair once every two days regularly. Maybe it’s not important for you since you have a very short hair. I can’t imagine a woman with long hair like Janera here choose to ignore her hair cleanliness (LOL)

2. "I take way too long to get dressed, like way too long. But only for things like shows or if I have to do public appearances. Like, I’m ridiculous, I’ll keep getting changed and getting changed and then I’ll just put on the same thing I wore the day before."
Do you take longer to dress for a special event?
Actually, it’s not about the time for dressing but the time for grooming (wink). I can easily pick any dress in a few minutes but it takes more than half an hour start grooming my face.

3. "My dad's a car dealer, but I grew up in London, so I always say I don't drive…I get driven. I got a driving lesson in Oregon, and then I bought a car in L.A. and I basically learned how to drive by people honking at me. I'm terrible at driving."
Are you a good driver?
To be honest, I just got my driving lesson about 2 months ago. So I can drive but surely not a good driver yet. I still need to increase my skill with this one.

4. "I don't spend any money. The only thing I've really bought is my car, which cost $1,500 and keeps exploding. It would be nice to buy a house for my parents, but at the same time my parents are so comfortable where they live; they would probably just feel like it was a burden. I wear the same clothes every day and the only thing I used to splurge on was DVDs."
If you had his money, what would be the first thing you spent it on?
Are you kidding me? If I had his money, I’ll definitely visit every exotic place in this world as far as that money can take me (LOL). I want to visit Budapest, Russia, Netherlands and all those distant countries one by one. So, can I have at least half of your money now, Robert? (LOL)

5. "I aspire to be Jack Nicholson. I love every single mannerism. I used to try and be him in virtually everything I did, I don't know why. I watched One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest when I was about 13, and I dressed like him. I tried to do his accent. I did everything like him. I think it's kind of stuck with me."
Who is your favorite actor?
My favorite actor would be Brendan Fraser. I love all his movies and how I love his funny face and funny talks. I thing he’s the most cute actor of all.
6. "Someone stole my shoelaces once from my shoes. I still wear them and never put laces in them - they're like my trademark shoes now!"
Have you ever changed your appearance because of a random happenstance?
Uhm…I don’t think so. I always feel happy and comfortable of my appearance. So, if something accidentally missing I think I will get a panic attack.

7. "I never really considered myself attractive. I was always kind of gangly in school."
Do you consider yourself attractive?
In my opinion, everyone is attractive in their on ways. Maybe you can’t be that attractive to every people you meet out there, but you will always be an attractive person for people that close to you, especially your spouse, kids or parents. And I consider myself as an attractive person in this way also.

8. "I definitely want to record an album, direct a film and start my own religion. I definitely wouldn’t have to pay taxes anymore.”
If you started your own religion, what would it be like?
Honestly, I’ve never thought of this before. And I don’t think this is an easy question after all. So, I can’t provide you answer to this for now.

9. "I do bear some similarities in the sense that I’m not good at romance. I also think I lack basic finesse when it comes to women. I give up too easily even if I’m very attracted to someone."
Have you ever given up too easily in the game of love?
No, I’m a fighter on this (LOL) My true experience was back in my high school. I was in love (I thought) to a handsome boy in my class room but was afraid to express my feeling. Instead, I use some weird actions to show him my feeling such as stole his test result paper, sit silently in the chair next to him, and hide my face when he was around and some other silly things like that. But I never gave up about my feeling for him until I lost contact with him right after the graduation. Hahaha… (ppsst…don’t tell my husband about this –wink-)

10. " I don’t want to disappoint girls who might think I’m very cool and smooth, which I’m not, I’m afraid. I’m still quite shy, although that seems to be something of an attraction for women."
Are you, or have you ever been attracted to shy people?
Definitely yes! The guy that I’m talking about up there is a typical shy guy. I don’t understand why some women considered shy guys as cool and attractive guys. Am I the only one here??
Anyway, my husband is not a shy guy and strangely I demand a guy like this to marry me.. Hhhmmmm

Car Accessories For Moms

0 thought(s) to share
I have kid so foods spilled are ordinary things in my car (lol). I just can’t get it because no matter how often I clean my floor mats every day, I will always find another spilled in the next day (sigh). Yes..yes..I heard you saying “that’s something that a mom should deal with everyday” right? And I absolutely understand.

I’m just thinking that I might need a new floor mat for my Nissan Maxima car. I’m going to need quality rubber floor mats but I don’t have enough time to buy them directly in the automotive store. I need to find another way. And I start to browse one day when I finally saw this Carid online. And guess what! They also offer Nissan Maxima Floor Mats there. Woohooo… I finally found it.

And you can also find any car accessories you need there, moms. They have so many kinds of automotive products from different vehicles. If you want to go take a look first and find out more about the pricing, then this website will be perfect for you. Explore the entire site first before you make up your mind. And when you feel comfortable with the pricing, you can start shopping. Don’t worry, I found out that they offer discount for almost every product they have.

So, moms if you need new floor mats to overcome your foods spilled problem, you know where to go.

Wisely Credit Card Users

1 thought(s) to share
Actually having a credit card is not as threaten as some people may consider. Indeed, if you don’t use this plastic money wisely, soon you will be in incurred debts and would have a long months full with headache, ladies. I have seen many cases like this happened. And when you’re already in this bad situation, you will find a credit card as a horrible monster instead of a helpful hand.
The problem with us-women- is that most of us usually use credit card to buy things which are not urgently needed. It’s a common situation to find women use their credit cards to buy clothes, bags, shoes or even jewelry. "So what’s wrong with that?" No, I’m not talking about right or wrong here, my dear friends. But are you really willing to put yourself in debt for stuff like that?

Remember, credit card is actually a modern version of old style debt. Only this time, you did it in a sophisticated way. But it doesn’t change the meaning that you are indeed having debt, right? And you must pay every penny you owe in the next day. The thing with credit card is you may not realize that you’re about to have accumulate debt if you don’t pay regularly until (maybe) you can’t afford it anymore. So, do you really want to be in this situation just for a few fancy clothes or bags that you bought with your credit cards? I don’t think so.

I’ve read a lot about advices from many financial advisors about how credit card can actually help you instead of killing you slowly. It can be very useful when you don’t have enough money for an urgent situation, such as for family member’s hospital payment or mortgage payment or anything that might cause you more trouble in the next day. This is where your credit card acts like a true helper for you. However, your problems still exist but credit card helps you by giving more time to pay your debt (with certain credit card interest, of course).

But the most important thing is you must pay all your debt regularly each month. Avoid paying the minimum payment only if you still able to pay the full amount. It will avoid you from having more debt in the future. The experts also said that we don’t actually need to have more than two credit cards, ladies. It also prevents us from buying more things that we don’t urgently need with this plastic money. Use cash money or debit card to buy stuff like that and leave the credit card for the urgent situation. Besides, you still can enjoy the benefits that your credit cards offered, right? Such as special discounts on certain restaurant or to get a suite lounge in the airport.

Remember, use the credit card to help you instead of killing you. And I think moms will also get benefits from this credit card if we use it wisely.

Red-White-Blue Monday

4 thought(s) to share
a sprocket found in the backseat. Hello my friends. How’s your weekend? I hope it’s as fun as mine. We didn’t go to a special place yesterday; just use our blue CAR to buy some foods for lunch. Actually, we planed to buy a large red pepperoni PIZZA but we changed our mind after seeing so many people were on the line. Queuing. No..no..no..we must find other place to go.

Finally we went to a shopping mall and have lunch in one of few restaurants there. What I like about shopping mall is that you may see many peculiar things happen around you. Yesterday, I saw a beautiful red hair WOMAN walked together with a white hair MAN. In this case, I’m talking about the literal meaning, people. The woman was so young (I bet she’s a teenager) but the man was so damn old. I think they’re absolutely not father and daughter since they’re busy kissing each other in a public area. Mouth to mouth! Oh my God, what is happening with this world we’re live in?

We walked away from the "red-flag" STUPID event as fast as we can and left a lot of people watching those love birds in motion. We have our little daughter with us, for God sake! We hurried into the kids section. I need to buy some stuff for my daughter, Asha. I bought her few blue UNDERWEARS and white SOCKS. There we meet TWIN sisters whose mother’s busy choosing suitable blue shoes for each of them. I love twins. It’s amazing to be able to see two people with almost the same shape of face, hair, eyes, and etc. While I only got me. (lol) Sometimes I hardly put some imagination inside my head about having a twin sister walking beside me. I think it would be fun. We will use exactly the same outfits so people couldn’t see the differences between us. Hahaha..

Anyway, I actually write this post to join HARRIET’s RED-WHITE-BLUE meme. She actually asked everyone to write a sentence about certain words using those three colors inside. But, somehow it reminds me of my English class when I was in primary school (lol) so I choose to write them on just like a story. I think this RED-BLUE-WHITE meme is a SMART idea to start this blue MONDAY. As you know, not everyone loves Monday. SERIOUSLY! And feel free to join, my dear friends, if you find this interesting.

Enjoy the rest of your day there. I’m sure most of you are busy doing your routine activities right now. So where ever you go, using train or red BUS, at work or at school, Have a great MONDAY. Stay SMART and SEXY! Hahaha…

Finally, I got all those 15 words inside this post. Thanks, Harriet

Mom Doesn't Always Know Everything

4 thought(s) to share
Mom knows everything.
No. Mom doesn’t always know everything. Mom doesn’t know why her babies got fever even if she already took care of them carefully and breastfeeding them regularly. Mom doesn’t know why her toddlers got injured; in fact she always teaches them how to walk properly. Mom doesn’t know why her beloved kids got sick; in fact she always prepares the best and healthy foods for them everyday and keeping them in a clean and healthy environment all the time.
Mom doesn’t know why her teenage daughters got pregnant or her teenage sons trapped in using cocaine and drugs, in fact she always teaches them about how important is to respect their own body. Mom doesn’t know why her kids refuse to continue their study to the next level; in fact she always tells them that education is really important for their future life. Mom doesn’t know why her beautiful daughters choose to marry a drunkard-jobless man, in fact she always tells them story about how that kind of man can treat them so badly. Etc..etc..etc.. (You may want to add something else that you think mommy wouldn't know either)

Can you see now? There are lots and lots of things in this world that mommies may would never know why. But there is one thing (for sure) that moms always know. She knows that she wants the best for her children. If only she could provide those best things in this life herself with her own two hands, she would definitely do it. She will always be there for them. Isn’t that right, mommies?
