Family Guy, Not Recommended For Children Viewers

5 thought(s) to share
Not every cartoon movie suitable for your little ones, moms. Some kids enjoy watching Walt Disney’s cartoon or other from Cartoon Network. Donald Duck has been my favorite cartoon character even since I was a little girl. As well as Mickey Mouse, Road Runner, Tasmanian Devils, or the old cartoon such as Tom and Jerry.
But cartoons like The Simpson and Family Guy are not suitable for children a.k.a not recommended. I already read so many reviews about The Simpson before like most of you but let’s talk about Family Guy now.
At a glance, the Griffin family really looks just like other ordinary American families. There is a mom, dad, children and a cute dog. But if you look closer you will find out that this family is absolutely different and can't be a role model of how a family should be.
The dad, Peter Griffin is a drinker who always looks stupid in most of the scene. He has a weird way to show his love for his family and wife, Lois. It seems like Lois is the only normal person in that house. Oh no, it’s not quite right either. Lois is a kind of mother who tries to kill her youngest son, Stewie. Stewie is still a baby. Lois accuses Stewie for attempted murder his own mother, Lois. How awkward is that?
It turns out that Lois may quite right since Stewie himself is not an innocent baby who always carries his doll, Rupert. He actually is an alien from different planet who hates his entire family members including Lois, his mom. He wants to conquer the world by hiding inside his baby appearance.
This family also has a dog named Brian who can talk and has a secret feeling over Lois. Brian loves Lois! (Huh!?) There’s a scene showing Brian gave Lois two tickets for a romantic fancy cruise trip. Actually, Brian wants Lois asking him for accompany, which totally odd to me. Brian knows how Stewie hates his family and save them in so many times. But Brian can’t tell either Peter or Lois about this, they will call him crazy. Beside, no one would ever believe a dog anyway.
Can you see that this Family Guy cartoon has a complex story and shows the rude behavior of its castings? If you ever watch this cartoon, I’m sure you will understand what I mean. But if you haven’t watch it yet and know that your children love to watch it every day, then you better do something about it. Family Guy is not recommended for children viewers.

Breaking The Magician Code

If you ever watch the Breaking The Magician Code, then may be you can understand my feeling right now. I mean, I always know that there’s no such a thing called Magic in real world. Those “abracadabra’ thing is something that you can learn if you want. It doesn’t come from magic spell or magic wand or anything like that. Magicians are those who able to move their hands in certain way while diverting your vision to a different thing. And on the next level, magicians may also use some smarter and better trick or equipments to help them just like I watched in this show. Though I already found out about this long time a go, but I still love to watch a magician in action. They are experts in playing other people visions and minds. Genius!

And this is my entry for Five Question Fridays meme:
1. Are you a neat sleeper or a messy sleeper?
I’m sure I’m a neat one since I always wake up exactly in the place spot where I laid my body down the night before. My husband is the messy one (lol)

2. Fill in the blank. I wish I was more patient when I stand in line when shop for groceries.

3. What is something that you wish you had been warned about?
That having a new baby is a precious moment but also the exhausting one :) I remember I must stay up almost the entire night for at least 6 months to breastfeed my baby every 2 hours. Hahaha…

4. What was the best thing you ever found at a garage sale/flea market?
Never been to a garage sale before

5. If you could have any meal brought to you right now, what would it be?
Fettuccine marinara will be just perfect. Can you send me one now? (lol)

Have a great Friday my friends..wherever you are.. xx

I'm Not A Fan

1 thought(s) to share
My husband and I are not fans of football. That’s why we don’t really care about the World Cup euphoria that happens to people around the world these past days ((lol)). So when everyone starts talking about how they’re going to arrange time to be able to watch their favorite country’s match together, we can only see and listen because we’re not going to join that fun-time anyway.
You may ask: WHY? Well, I find football as a bit boring kind of sport. I’m tired to open my eyes widely in order to follow the football players running around a huge field and hope that there’ll be a goal in a short time. All I can see is just people running around chasing and kicking the ball all the time.

I prefer to watch gymnastics, badminton, sprint and pole vault. It won’t take much time to watch and you can find the result in a short time without having to sleep late in the night just to find out who is going to win the match ((lol))

What about you? Are you a fan of football too? If you do, then you must be enjoying this World Cup, right? If you’re not a fan, then come and join me to spend more time with our blogs since you don’t need to spend more time sleeping in the daytime just to be able to stay awake in the night and watch the football. What do you think?

The Ghost Hunters

3 thought(s) to share
I’m not actually a ghost freak but I love to watch television programs about ghost and stuffs on tv. One of my favorite programs is Ghost Hunters running by the TAPS Investigators. Of all ghost hunters program I’ve ever saw, they are the best!
Obviously, they don’t try to hunt or catch ghosts like any others did. Contrary, they try to prove that you can’t call every weird activity as a paranormal activity. They’ve successfully proved that some of those activities were only natural activities. So, if unintentionally you heard your kitchen’s door banging at night, it could have been just the wind or perhaps because your dog tried to steal something from your chiller (lol)

But, they do meet some real paranormal activities sometimes and the camera recorded those activities so that every viewer can watch it and see that it happens just like that. I saw when “something” invisible pulled out a man’s jacket so strong. It was creepy. On the other day, I saw how that spirits tried to communicate with them using a flash light or by knocking on the wall.

This team tried to separate the paranormal activities from the normal ones. If one day they can prove that some “unexplainable” activities are going on a particular places, on the other day the can prove that every activity they’ve found is just normal. So they can prove both and not just only chasing the ghost story only.

Have you ever watch this program before?

Bad-Ad

2 thought(s) to share
Have you seen Kecap Sedaap’s commercial which has been vanished from TV recently? The script is about a boy who just comes back from school. He goes straight to the kitchen; apparently his mother is not there. And there is no food served on the table. Meanwhile, the kitchen itself looks very modern and fancy. The boy doesn’t even think to take a look at food storage first, just in case his mother already spares some food for him.

But the first thing he grabs is a big jar full of chips then a bottle of ketchup. Then he starts to eat a bowl of rice just with chips and ketchup. Amazing, he can eat all the content in that bottle instantly, even before he finished with his rice.

When he realized that he’s going to run out of ketchup, and he becomes very angry and start yelling. Suddenly, his slim and well-dressed mother comes up, and brings a new bottle of this Sedaap ketchup. The boy is so happy, and began to continue with his food. And those chips too.

There’s something annoying about this kind of commercial. It’s about the message that might have reached our children. That it’s okay if they just want to eat their food with chip and ketchup only. But, wouldn’t it be wiser, if only they served other kind of food and not just chips and ketchup? If they can’t serve meat, they can still served fish or vegetable or maybe an orange. So there’s enough nutrition in his food. Because I’m sure everybody will say that chips and ketchup is never enough!

I’m a big fan of chips too. I love to eat them with rice as well. But, please don’t be so naïf. No matter of that ketchup is so tasty and full of nutrition, still it can not replace the quality of healthy food, right? So, it doesn’t matter if you like chips and ketchup for your meal, but don’t forget to inform your audience about the real healthy food.

Because commercial can effects people easily. If the commercial teach children that it’s okay for them to have their meal with chips and ketchup only (although their parents can afford them healthy food) along with his mother’s improvement, I think it’s not smart. Is his mother has lost her mind? But teach the children to eat healthy food. It doesn’t have to be fancy, with cheese or milk. Just serve rice, fish, vegetables and simple fruit, like orange or banana. If the children see their favorite artist on TV is eating vegetables, it will be easier for them to eat vegetables too, right?

The bottom line is choose the right method for your commercial script. Especially if you have children as your audience.
