I Love Your Every Song

GREENDAY
Yay!! It’s GREENDAY everybody. Oh how I love this band a lot. I can’t wait..I can’t wait to read what they’re going to say within the lyrics.

1. 21 GUNS:
“Do you know what’s worth fighting for?
When it’s not worth dying for?
Does it take your breath away and you feel yourself suffocating?”
What was the last cause/reason that you signed a petition or joined in a protest?
I think I joined in a few protests during the college time about 10 years a go which I can’t remember clearly right now (lol) but I’m sure most of them were about social interest issues. Never join anything like that again after I graduated.

2. AMERICAN IDIOT:
“Don’t want to be an American idiot
One nation controlled by the media.
Information age of hysteria
It’s going out to idiot America”
Where is the best place for trusted information about world events?
Err…I still consider media as a best place to find trusted information about world events whatsoever. Indeed, media has its own agenda when they released particular subjects of news but the viewers or the readers themselves are not fool. We can still be in control and capable of filtering information we found without having to be brainwashed. Media is powerful but not that scary.

3. GOOD RIDDANCE:
“Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go
So make the best of this test and don’t ask why.
It’s not a question but a lesson learned in time”…
What was the last lesson or message about life you learned?
Life gives me a lesson every day. When I lost a special friend last week, I realized that people can only live in a very short time in this earth and you must enjoy every minute you have with your loved ones. When the time comes for them to leave you or for you to leave them then you can say good bye with a smile and a big hug. Don’t regret it because everyone must go one time. That’s life.

4. WELCOME TO PARADISE:
“Dear Mother Can you hear me whining?
It’s been 3 weeks since that I left your home.
This sudden fear has left me trembling
Cause now it seems that I am out here on my own
And I’m feeling so alone”…
Where was the place you went to live when you first moved out of your parents/guardians home?
I left my parents’ home when I entered college. It’s still a home for me but I never stayed for more than a week there after that. I visit them regularly of course but everything would never be the same again. Moreover, I’m a married woman right now with my own house which I need to take care of everyday. Sometimes, I still miss my teenage days back in my hometown.

5. MINORITY:
“I want to be the minority
I don’t need your authority
Down with the moral majority
Cause I want to be the minority”…
When have you ever felt like an outsider?
There was a family reunion a few months a go in my aunt’s house. I met my cousins whom I played with when I was still a kid. Of course we still remember our childhood together but after not seeing each other for a very long time, things changed. It seems like I don’t recognize them anymore. The conversation was awkward and we couldn’t find a new interesting topic most of the time (lol)

6. WHEN I COME AROUND:
“Oh I heard it all before
So don’t knock down my door
I’m a loser the user
So I don’t need no accuser
To try and slag me down because I know you’re right”…
What was the last bad thing you discovered about yourself?
I’m a kind of person who tends to procrastinate (lol). I clearly know that I must finish something as soon as possible, for instance. But I can always find a reason to procrastinate.

7. MISERY:
“Mr. Whirly had a catastrophic incident
He fell into the city by the bay
He liquidated his estate
Now he sleeps upon the Haight
Panhandling misery”…
If you have ever been poor, what lesson, skill-set or experience came from it?
I came from an average family. We’re not very poor but not wealthy either. But my life is getting better and getting better after I got married. The lesson I have from my childhood is that we must always be grateful of everything I have right now. We may consider we had a pair of ugly shoes right now and grumble about it. But remember there are a lot of people out there who has no shoes at all to wear on. Be grateful of everything you have.

8. 80:
“Sometimes I wonder if I should be left alone
And lock myself up in a padded room
I’d sit and spew my guts out in the open air
Cuz no one wants to hear a drunken fool”…
How do you relax after a stressful day?
Spa is a perfect option if you don’t mind to spend more time to drive to the spa center. But if I want a quick relief then sleeping will be the answer. After sleeping for a few hours, I will wake up with a fresher mind and a better mood.

9. REDUNDANT:
“We’re livin in a repetition
Content in the same old stick again
Now the routine’s turnin to a contention
Like a production line goin over and over and over roller coaster”…
Do you do something over and over the same way, even though you know there is a better/simpler way to do it?
Apparently not. When I realized that there is a better/simpler way to do something I will definitely change the way I worked with it.

10. ANDROID:
“It makes me wonder when I grow to be that age
Will I be walking down the street begging for your spare change
Or will I grow that old? Will I still be around?
The way I carry on, I’ll end up 6 feet underground and waste away”…
What age do you believe is OLD and why?
75y I think. Because most of people around that age were not able to do everything well done anymore. They need other people to help them most of time and feel too tired to do anything. They need to spend time at home with their grandchildren and enjoy their relaxing time or meet some old new friends.

11. WAITING:
“I’ve been waiting a lifetime for this moment to come
I’m destined for anything at all”…
What is your biggest dream in life (so far)?
Everything about my family is the biggest dream in my life. So I probably have more than 20 dreams in my mind right now(lol)

12. POPROCKS AND COKE:
“I don’t care is you don’t mind
I’ll be there, not far behind
I will dare, keep in mind, I’ll be there for you”…
What is the biggest favor you ever did for family or for a friend?
Not quite sure about this. I never consider everything I did to help other family member as a big favor. I’m happy to help if I’m capable of doing so.

Kuta, BALI
13. BASKET CASE:
“Yea, I went to a shrink to analyze my dreams,
She says it’s lack of sex that’s bringin’ me down…”
What would you like more of in your life?
Family vacation I suppose. Oh, how I love to have a vacation with my hubby and kiddo. Next month, we’re planning to spend a few days in Bali. Wooohooo…can’t wait!!
